18 January, Kathmandu: Uttam Devkota has been appointed the Director General of the Federation of Handicraft Associations of Nepal.
Devkota was previously the Chief Executive Officer at the Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA).
Devkota has also served as a project monitoring and evaluation specialist for both governmental and non-governmental organisations. Furthermore, he has held leadership positions in educational and research institutions over an extended period.
Formerly the principal of Canvas International College Kathmandu and Sainik Mahavidyalaya Chitwan, as well as the executive director of Meredith Research and Development, Devkota is set to assume the position of Director General at the Federation of Handicraft Associations of Nepal for the next two years.
