Prime Minister Dahal in Lhasa

27 September, Kathmandu: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who is on an official visit to China, has reached Lhasa from Chongqing today.

Prime Minister Dahal landed at Gongar Airport in Lhasa, an autonomous region of China, through Sichuan Airlines at around 12:00 local time. Prime Minister Dahal was given a grand welcome at Gongar Airport.

According to the schedule, Wang Changchang, secretary of the Communist Party of China (Tibet) Autonomous Regional Committee, will meet Prime Minister Dahal this evening. Secretary Wang will host a dinner tonight in honor of Prime Minister Dahal.

PM Dahal visited Lhasa in connection with the agreement reached with China on the construction of a transmission line for electricity trade from the northern region of Nepal, which is bordered by China.
