16 April, Kathmandu: A cyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a Scorpio jeep in Basundhara, Kathmandu last night.
According to police, 23-year-old Sudarshan Adhikari, a resident of New Bus Park, was injured and is undergoing treatment at a teaching hospital in Maharajganj. At 12 o’clock last night, a Scorpio jeep hit the bicycle. Police have detained the driver along with the jeep.
A pedestrian boy was seriously injured in a motorcycle collision yesterday evening in Chammati, Kathmandu.
Samir Ansari, a 7-year-old boy who was injured in a motorcycle collision, is being treated at the National Trauma Center in Mahankal. Search is on for the motorcyclist who escaped after causing an accident at 5 pm yesterday.
Similarly, 66-year-old Chiranjeebi Giri was injured in a motorcycle collision yesterday evening in Sinamangal, Kathmandu. Giri is being treated at Kathmandu Medical College in Sinamangal.
The driver of the motorcycle involved in the accident that took place at 6:30 pm yesterday has been detained by police circle Gaushala.
