17 November,Kathmandu: Election Commission has sent a letter to the Chairman of Hotel Royal Century, Chitwan and Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Center) District Working Committee, Chitwan, instructing them to provide a certified copy of the bill for the food provided to the participants in the public demonstration that took place this Tuesday.
The commission has also asked the district president of the party to submit an explanation within 24 hours.
The party’s Chitwan president posted on his social media that on that day, “As there will be a public demonstration of the alliance from Narayangarh Lions Chowk at 8 am, all the leaders and workers are sincerely requested for active presence, and food has been arranged at Hotel Royal Century after the public demonstration.” The Commission has sent a letter regarding the matter received in the Commission.
