Kathmandu, September 6 Chairman of CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that his party would lead the socialist ideals along with the communist ideology in the country.
At a program organized in the party central office in the capital city on Monday, Chairman Nepal said the national capital should be industrialized for poverty reduction adding that the scientific thought of judicious distribution was the Marxist thought.
On the occasion, the party’s senior leader and former Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal said the communist movement in the country was needed to ensure social justice and equality.
Khanal also argued that his party was formed to safeguard communist ideology through revolt against the opportunistic characteristics within the communist party.
On the occasion, leaders of the Janata Samajwadi Party, Rana Bahadur Ramtel, and other cadres joined the CPN (US).
