14 APRIL, KATHMANDU : The government has promoted Additional Inspector General of Armed Police Pushparam KC to the post of Inspector General of Armed Police. Home Secretary Teknarayan Pandey also decorated KC, who has become the Inspector General of Armed Police by today’s decision of the Council of Ministers of the Government of Nepal.
At a function held at the Home Ministry, Home Secretary Pandey congratulated him on his promotion to the post of Inspector General of Armed Police and wished him a successful tenure. He also expressed his commitment to always be with the Ministry in formulating the necessary plan to make the Armed Police Force, Nepal stronger, stronger, and more empowered.
On the occasion, Inspector General of the Armed Police KC expressed his gratitude to the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Government of Nepal for promoting him to such a dignified post as the Inspector General of the Armed Police.
KC, who was born in Talakhu-3 of Nuwakot district on September 3, 2023 BS, entered the service as Inspector of Police of Nepal Police on April 3, 2049 BS. As Inspector General of the Armed Police Shailendra Khanal has taken compulsory retirement from the police service, the government has promoted KC to the post of Inspector General today.
