31 July, KATHMANDU: Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal, Syed Haider Shah called upon the Rt. Honourable Mr. Sher Bahadur Deuba, Prime Minister of Nepal at his Office. Ambassador Shah congratulated the Rt. Honourable Prime Minister on assuming the office of the Prime Minister of Nepal.
The Ambassador also conveyed felicitations on behalf of Prime Minister Imran Khan and the people of Pakistan to Rt. Honourable Mr. Sher Bahadur Deuba on assuming the office of the Prime Minister. Rt. Honourable Prime Minister Deuba expressed his gratitude for the felicitation messages.
Rt. Honourable Prime Minister Deuba expressed his commitment to further enhance the cordial bilateral relations existing between the two friendly countries. Rt. Honourable Prime Minister Deuba also expressed his gratitude for Pakistan’s material and financial assistance to Nepal in its fight against COVID-19 pandemic.
Ambassador Shah reiterated Pakistan’s continued commitment towards Nepal’s socio-economic development under Pakistan’s various assistance programmes. Rt. Honourable Prime Minister thanked Pakistan for its educational assistance and highlighted the importance of Pakistan’s continued support in the field of education.
