Marking World Environment Day Hyatt regency planted Trees in Pashupati area

05 June, Kathmandu: In celebration of World Environment Day 2024, a tree planting and cleaning initiative was undertaken in the Pashupati area.

The tree planting program, held at Hotel Hyatt Regency Kathmandu, saw the planting and maintenance of saplings along the Bagmati Corridor within the Pashupatinath complex. This initiative was undertaken in collaboration with IHM College Satdobato, a prominent culinary training institution, in coordination with the Pashupati Kshetra Development Fund.

The event witnessed the participation of a significant number of students, as well as an expert and researcher in the hospitality industry, Vilas Khatri, who serves as the Learning and Development Manager of Hyatt Regency Hotel. Additionally, the CEO of IHM College, Surach Prasai, was present at the occasion.

During the program, students from Bright Future Academy School and College performed a street drama highlighting the deteriorating environmental conditions and the challenges they pose.
