Honda two-wheelers has launched the Dio’s new model–the Sports–in India. It is one of the most popular Honda scooters in Nepal. In the Nepali market, the Honda Dio price in Nepal starts at NRs. 2,59,900 for the Standard and Rs. 2,69,900 for the Deluxe. The limited edition scooter gets a new body design while the specifications remain the same as its predecessors’. The new model is offered in two variants: the Standard and the Deluxe–at a starting price of INR 68,317.

Design And Features
The overall design of the new Dio Sports remains the same as on its outgoing models. However, the new scooter gets two new dual-tone paint schemes: Strontium Silver Metallic with black and Sports Red with black.
Among the scooter’s notable features are its LED headlamp and position lamp, fully digital meter with eco speed indicator, 4-in-1 lock with seat opening, and CBS equaliser.
Engine And Specifications
Powering the new Dio Sports will be the same 110cc, single-cylinder, PGM-FI, engine–as its predecessor’s–that generates 7.6 bhp of power and a torque of 9 Nm. The scooter features 130mm drum brakes on both ends, and the suspension duties are handled by a telescopic suspension at the front and a 3-step adjustable hydraulic suspension at the rear.

Honda Dio is one of the best-selling scooter models in Nepal; however, it seems the limited edition Sports model might make it here much later.
