Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, who is on a three-day official visit to India, has arrived in Varanasi without any religious observance.
03 APRIL, VARANASI : Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba was welcomed at the Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport by senior officials of the state of Uttar Pradesh. While staying here, Prime Minister Deuba is scheduled to pay homage to Kashi Vishwanath along with his wife Dr. Arju Rana Deuba.
Besides, Prime Minister Deuba will pay obeisance at the Samrajeshwar Pashupatinath Mahadev and Kalbhairav temples here and lay the foundations for an old age home to be constructed at Lalitaghat.
Earlier, Prime Minister Deuba was seen off at the Indira Gandhi International Airport by officials from the Indian Ministry of External Affairs.
Prime Minister Deuba will leave here for New Delhi this afternoon and is scheduled to leave New Delhi for Kathmandu in the evening.
