Rhino swept by Narayani river found dead in Gandak Barrage

Chitwan, August 11 A rhino has been found dead in the Gandak Barrage on Wednesday.

A national park official says the 25-year-old male was swept away by a swollen Narayani river on July 28.

A postmortem was done on it by officials from Chitwan National Park and Valmiki Tiger Reserve (India) and has been buried in India.

The wild beast’s horn and hoof are safe. The Chitwan National Park officials are yet to officially announce this news.
